While it's easy to identify Miss Sayer , the caption leaves the other two women's identities unclear beyond they likely are Miss Sayer's sisters.The fact that the one in the back resembles Adeline leaves a question for both this photo and #8.

This trip had Lucian and Adeline traveling in the company of friends to the Upstate New York Catskill area and part of the Canadian northeast - a fairly common area for New York City people to visit. I'd guess they also were doing what many people of means did to get away from the City's summer heat.

One feature of this trip's photographs is Adeline added many annotations.
